"Istanbulized" at Turkey

Istanbul, Turkish Istanbul, formerly Constantinople, ancient Byzantium, largest city and principal seaport of Turkey. It was the capital of both the Byzantine Empire and the Ottoman Empire.

As we arrived in Istanbul, everything was all different (way too different from Doha or Manila). I was mesmerized how the crowded airport sets calm in my nerves. Everything has planned all going to happen.

We were excited but tired. We look for a safe place to launch our Istanbul itinerary. It took us awhile looking for such place since the Sabiha- Gokcen Airport is way far from the city proper. It's a 2- hour bus ride going to Taksim Square- a place where all the hotels were situated.

Again, another level of excitement arose when we searched for a place to stay on. All hotels and mini lodges were full- booked until we found a little, narrow building hiding along the streets of Taksim Square (forgot the name).

The place is romantic and sultry. We also have a good view of the whole city of Istanbul. Unpacked and changed to our outfits for Day 1 adventure without a single minute of rest.

The pictures are mouths how we go through our Istanbul- Day 1 adventure.

Indeed, we were ISTANBULIZED!
